Slumberkins, a fast-scaling, women-owned early childhood education start-up, needed a spring campaign that could carry its mission of supporting social-emotional learning through story-rich characters and imaginative play.

The concept had to span product storytelling, marketing, and high-volume organic social content on a startup budget and timeline.

Britta led the end-to-end creative development, building a visual and narrative framework rooted in childhood imagination and emotional connection.

Tend to the Moments that Matter paired warm, minimal backdrops with whimsical illustration. Simple photography gave the hand-drawn overlays room to express the inner world of a child’s imagination.

The system extended across email, web, and a versatile pipeline of evergreen and campaign-specific content for Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.

The Spring 2020 campaign elevated Slumberkins’ presence across digital touchpoints and increased organic social engagement with its core parent audience.

The work also helped define a durable tone and visual style—showing how a small, mission-driven team could scale storytelling without losing heart, voice, or emotional resonance.
