I’m Britta—a creative leader, system builder, and unapologetic operations nerd who believes the best brands are born at the intersection of soul and structure.

Over the years, I’ve led teams, shaped brands, and built the kind of systems that let creatives breathe. My work lives in that sweet spot where clarity meets courage—where we can dream big and build the backend to support it.

I lead with heart and servant leadership. That means listening deeply, designing intentionally, and making sure the work is both beautiful and actually sustainable. I’ve seen firsthand how the right combination of vision and infrastructure transforms not just brands—but the people behind them.

I also believe in creative flow over hustle, and in using tools like AI to reduce the slog—not the soul.

Today, I run Grove + River, a creative consultancy where I help businesses align their brand with their purpose, evolve their culture, and make space for real innovation. Whether we're crafting a visual identity or restructuring a creative team, the goal is always the same: less chaos, more clarity.

As for me? I’m originally from Passau, Germany, but now call the lush Pacific Northwest home—where I live with my husband, two curious little boys, two goofy dogs, and one very opinionated cat I imported from Bavaria.
